  48. So you were using a Borland Turbo C++ 4.51 *for OS/2*?
  49. Maybe if you used an OS/2 version, it'd be pretty fast.
  50. Also, OS/2 Warp for Windows is slower than
  51. OS/2 Warp with Win-OS/2 built in when running Windows apps.
  52. (Win-OS/2 was reverse engineered and optimized -- with 
  53. permission of course.)
